Burgan Real Estate, the official Brokerage of YSU Athletics, has just jumped to the front of the class with their newest realtor, who has a pedigree in real estate and property management.   The Burgan Bunch is proud to announce the addition of Jody Pedaline to their lineup of award-winning realtors.

"At Burgan Real Estate, we pride ourselves on being locally owned and locally operated, which means we surround ourselves with individuals who have the same passion and love for the Mahoning Valley," said Patrick Burgan, co-owner and Broker of Burgan Real Estate.  "We are excited to welcome Jody Pedaline to our team of agents, not only because of her pedigree in real estate, but of her story of a native of Youngstown who left the area and now has returned to something better with Burgan."

Pedaline is a native to the westside of Youngstown and a 2002 graduate of Youngstown State University.  She went on to earn her teaching license from Notre Dame of Cleveland as well as her Master of Arts in Education/Administration and Supervision.  Since 2007, she has been in education, teaching elementary school children in Las Vegas.  While she loved being in education, her true passion has always been in real estate.

At the age of 14, Pedaline was brought up in the family business of Pedaline Enterprise Property Management where she spent 14 years managing properties and overseeing the renovations of the city's northside with her father. While teaching in Las Vegas, Jody continued to buy, sell, and maintain properties for residents in both the Las Vegas and Youngstown areas. During this time, she also assisted in the development and founding of YLP LLC. As co-owner, Jody owned, operated, and maintained 40 rental units in Youngstown.  For good measure, she was the General Contractor on the house she built in Las Vegas, a house she later successfully sold before moving back to Youngstown.

Since moving back to Youngstown, Jody continues to make a difference in the lives of youth in the community that helped her become a success in her career and personal life.  She is an active youth mentor with the Northeast Ohio Adoption Services and dedicates her time to the YMCA's after school youth program, assisting with educational needs for the children who attend.  What little free time she has, she finds peace and relaxation in rock climbing, running, biking, volleyball, softball and traveling.  Her career has allowed her to travel and learn a great deal, but coming back home to work with Burgan Real Estate is exactly what she was hoping for at this point in her life.

"I have always been a proud native of Youngstown and am incredibly grateful to have been raised in such a close knit and caring community," said Pedaline. "While I have had great experiences away from the area to help me become better, the opportunity Burgan Real Estate is providing me to return to the Mahoning Valley, a place that I truly love, is one that fills me with great excitement and gratitude.  I look forward to serving my clients and representing my properties with the same principles and work ethic my mother and father instilled in me as a child: to make lives in the Youngstown area better.
