Burgan Real Estate, the official brokerage of YSU Athletics, wants to make the holidays better by spreading cheer with the "Burgan Real Estate Merry & Bright $1,000 Sweepstakes."  Individuals can enter the sweepstakes by visiting www.betterwithburgan.com/bright until Tuesday, December 20th at 11:59pm ET, and submit a picture of how they are making this holiday season special by decorating their homes.  Throughout the month, Burgan Real Estate will share homes through social media, and, on December 21st, one random entry will be selected to win $1,000!  

"Many people enjoy driving around to look at decorations this time of year," said Patrick Burgan, broker and co-owner of Burgan Real Estate. "We want to share that joy with others as well as reward someone with $1,000 for making people's lives better and happier with the decorations they set up to celebrate the holidays." 

Burgan Real Estate originally established this promotion as a way to celebrate one of their original founders, Leon Turek, who passed away in 2020. Broker and co-owner, Sue Turek-Filipovich, said decorated homes at Christmas was something her father loved during this time of year. 

"My father and John Burgan founded Burgan Real Estate with the idea that they could help people find happiness and a better life in the homes they live in," said Turek-Filipovich. "My father always enjoyed seeing people take pride in decorating their homes.  This sweepstakes is both an opportunity to thank the Mahoning Valley for another wonderful year, but also to remember the holidays are about bringing joy to the people around us."
